The Adams County Airport Authority announced on Apr. 24 that it is seeking applicants to fill a vacant board member seat, as well as two new positions following an expansion of the board. The open seat will be filled for a term ending January 13, 2026, while the two new positions will serve five-year terms from May 18, 2026 through May 17, 2031.
The authority recently voted to increase its board from five to seven members in order to involve more county leadership and raise awareness about the airport’s role in the community. The organization said it hopes to fill these new positions with professionals who are not specifically involved in aviation but have an interest in supporting Adams County’s development.
Applicants must be United States citizens and residents of Adams County. Interested individuals are asked to submit a letter of introduction and resume by mail to the Adams County Board of Commissioners at their West Union address by Monday, May 11, 2026. Appointments will be made by the county commissioners according to Ohio Revised Code.
