The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office announced on Apr. 27 that the May S.A.L.T. (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together) Council meeting will take place on Thursday, May 7, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Sheriff’s Office Annex located at 1205 E. Main St., Ashland, Ohio.

The event is open to all members of the community and admission is free. The council aims to bring together seniors and law enforcement for discussion and engagement.

Sara Fisher from the Ashland Historical Society will be the featured speaker during this session, offering insights relevant to attendees.

These meetings are part of ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to foster stronger relationships with senior citizens in Ashland County.

Future meetings are expected to continue providing a platform for dialogue between seniors and law enforcement representatives.
