The Bowling Green State University men’s cross country team is set to compete in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships on Saturday, November 1, at the Audubon Golf Course in Buffalo, New York. The 8-kilometer race for the Falcons is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Eastern Time and will mark the conclusion of their 2025 season.

Key athletes for Bowling Green include junior Micah Bentley, who recorded a personal best time of 25:37.2 in the 8K earlier this fall at the Paul Short Run. Sophomore Luke Lesseuer has also shown strong performances, setting new personal records in every meet since returning from injury.

Bowling Green will compete against several strong teams in the region, including Toledo, Akron, Ohio, and Miami (Ohio), all ranked among the top 15 in the Great Lakes region. The Falcons are looking to improve their standing within the conference and aim for their best result of the year.

The championship also plays a role in the Battle of I-75 rivalry between Bowling Green and Toledo, a competition that spans all sports over the course of the year. Ten points will be awarded based on Saturday’s men’s race outcome; currently, BGSU leads Toledo by a score of 26-5.
