The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) men’s golf team competed in the Tom Tontimonia Invitational, which took place from September 29 to 30 at Virtues Golf Club. The course was a par 71 with a total yardage of 7,201. The tournament was hosted by BGSU and featured ten teams.
BGSU finished eighth overall, posting a total score of 880 across three rounds. Angelo Luciani led the Falcons, placing tied for 20th individually with a score of 217. Pedro Garcia and LT Harris both recorded scores of 218, tying for 23rd place. Harris competed as an independent player. Other BGSU golfers included Andrew Lee (221), Ethan Irvine (224), and David Chavez (240). Filip Geber also played as an individual and finished with a score of 223.
Green Bay won the team event with an even-par score of 852. Oakland finished second with a score of 858 (+6), followed by Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne, who tied for third at 865 (+13).
The Falcons are scheduled to conclude their fall tournament season next week when they participate in the Moraine Intercollegiate in Kettering, Ohio, hosted by Miami (OH).
