Bowling Green men’s golf finishes tenth at Virtues Intercollegiate

The Bowling Green State University men’s golf team participated in the Virtues Intercollegiate tournament held at Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio, from September 29 to 30. The event, hosted by BGSU, featured a par 72 course with a total yardage of 7,243. The Falcons finished 10th out of 14 teams with a total score of 904 over three rounds.

Brady Fox competed as an independent and recorded the best score among BGSU players, shooting a 220 across three rounds and tying for 22nd place. Angelo Luciani was close behind with a score of 221, tying for 26th.

Other team scores included Andrew Lee at 224 (T-36), Pedro Garcia at 225 (T-40), David Chavez at 236 (T-74), and Filip Geber at 239 (80th). Additional individual competitors for BGSU were Ethan Irvine, who shot a 231 (T-61), and LT Harris with a score of 234 (T-68).

On the team leaderboard, Notre Dame’s B team took first place with an overall score of 843 (-21), followed by Butler at 855 (-9) and Loyola-Chicago at 861 (-3). Bowling Green placed just behind Ashland, which finished ninth.

The Falcons are scheduled to compete next week at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational in Westlake, Ohio, hosted by Cleveland State.
