Bowling Green men’s golf opens spring season at Lake Jovita Invitational

The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) men’s golf team began its spring season at the Lake Jovita Invitational in Dade City, Florida. The event is hosted by Ball State and features 13 collegiate teams.

BGSU’s lineup for the tournament includes Angelo Luciano, Pedro Garcia, Ethan Irvine, David Chavez, and Andrew Lee. Additionally, Charlie Pettrone and Leroy Harris are participating as individual competitors.

Among the 13 teams in attendance are three Mid-American Conference (MAC) schools: BGSU, Ball State, and Central Michigan. Other universities competing include Georgia State, Wright State, Butler, Winthrop, Charleston Southern, Xavier, Loyola-Chicago, Dayton, Richmond, Valparaiso and Connecticut.

After this event concludes, the Falcons will have a week off before traveling to Savannah for their next competition. The team will compete in an invitational in Savannah that includes 17 schools.
