Bowling Green State University men’s golf team competes in Ross Collegiate Invitational

The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Men’s Golf team is participating in the Babygrande Ross Collegiate Class Invitational, a three-day tournament taking place from March 9 to 11.

This event brings together 20 collegiate teams, including BGSU and Ohio University, the only other Mid-American Conference school in the field. Other participating schools include Eastern Michigan, George Washington, Richmond, Saint Joseph’s, Old Dominion, Towson, Robert Morris, Georgetown, South Dakota, Virginia Commonwealth, St. Bonaventure, St. Thomas, St. John’s, George Mason, Dayton, Loyola-Chicago and William & Mary University.

The Falcons’ lineup for the tournament features Pedro Garcia, Angelo Luciani, Andrew Lee, David Chavez and Ethan Irvine. Fans can follow live stats and results on BGSUFalcons.com.

In their previous outing at the Savannah Intercollegiate tournament, Bowling Green finished in 15th place. Pedro Garcia led the team with a score of 223 (+7), while both Garcia and Luciani secured spots among the top 30 individual finishers.

Looking ahead after this event in Southern Pines, North Carolina, the Falcons will travel to South Pittsburg, Tennessee for the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate hosted by Miami of Ohio University from March 23 to 25.
