The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team will have its upcoming Mid-American Conference game against the University of Massachusetts broadcast nationally. The conference announced on Tuesday that the Falcons are scheduled to play the Minutewomen on Sunday, January 25, with the game airing on CBS Sports Network. The matchup will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Mullins Center in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Currently, Bowling Green has a record of 5-4 this season and is in the midst of a six-game homestand, which is the longest in school history. Upcoming games include hosting Lourdes on December 14 and a “School Day Game” against Le Moyne on December 16. The Falcons will then start their MAC schedule by facing Kent State at home on December 20.

Massachusetts enters this period with a 7-1 record and will next compete in the FIU Christmas Classic in Miami, Florida, on December 19 and 20. UMass became an official member of the Mid-American Conference as of July 1, 2025.

Bowling Green leads the all-time series against UMass, having won both previous meetings between the programs. The Falcons secured a 64-61 victory in Amherst on December 19, 2012, followed by an 86-46 win at home exactly one year later.
