Bowling Green State University women’s golf coach Erin Fahey has released the team’s schedule for the 2026 spring season. The Falcons will start their campaign in early February and conclude with the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships at the end of April.
The team aims to continue its strong performance from the fall, where it finished in the top five in all four tournaments and secured a win at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational.
The spring season opens with Bowling Green hosting the BGSU Women’s Intercollegiate at Litchfield Park, Arizona, on February 10-11. Other MAC teams participating include Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, and Toledo. Last year, Bowling Green placed fourth out of fourteen teams at this event.
A week later, the Falcons will stay in Arizona for the Rio Verde Collegiate hosted by Western Michigan from February 20-22. Participating schools include Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Ohio, and Western Michigan.
In March, Bowling Green travels to Abilene, Texas for the West Texas Classic hosted by Abilene Christian University on March 2-3. In last year’s tournament there, Bowling Green finished sixth among sixteen teams.
Later that month, the team heads to Johns Creek, Georgia for the Georgia State Invitational on March 30-31. The field includes familiar opponents such as Dayton and Ohio University. The Falcons are looking to improve upon their eighth-place finish from last year out of fifteen teams.
Returning home in April, Bowling Green will host the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club on April 11-12. Teams scheduled to compete include Central Michigan, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Loyola-Chicago, Niagara, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Xavier. The Falcons won this event in spring 2025 with a two-round score of 586.
The regular season concludes with the MAC Championships hosted by Kent State University at Firestone Country Club in Akron from April 26-28.
Coach Erin Fahey stated: “The team is excited about our spring schedule and building off our momentum from a successful fall.”
