A Brook Park resident was sentenced on Apr. 1 to 14 years in federal prison for trafficking nearly 2,000 images of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio.
Ernest A. Fuller II, age 53, pleaded guilty in December 2025 to receipt and distribution of visual depictions of real minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. In addition to his prison sentence, Fuller was ordered by U.S. District Judge Benita Y. Pearson to serve five years of supervised release after imprisonment and pay $71,500 in restitution to victims.
Court documents show that over a period of almost three years, Fuller regularly distributed CSAM using peer-to-peer computer applications. During a search warrant at his home, law enforcement seized electronic devices that contained hundreds of saved images depicting the rape, torture, and abuse of children ranging from toddlers to teenagers. Most files were found to involve minors under the age of twelve. Investigators also discovered evidence that Fuller deleted CSAM files using software designed for disk optimization and speed enhancement; CDs containing CSAM and a child-sized sex toy were also recovered during the search.
The FBI Cleveland Division led the investigation into Fuller’s activities leading up to his indictment. Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer J. King prosecuted the case.
This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood—a nationwide initiative led by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse online by coordinating federal, state, and local resources across jurisdictions.
