Campbell Pohlman was recognized as the 2026 Franklin B. Walter Recipient for Lebanon High School by the Warren County Educational Service Center, according to an April 21 announcement. Pohlman is noted for her strong academic performance, extensive involvement in music, and dedication to leadership and community service.

The award highlights the importance of recognizing students who excel not only academically but also contribute meaningfully to their communities through service and leadership roles.

Pohlman ranks ninth in her class of 380 students at Lebanon High School with a weighted GPA of 4.509. Her coursework includes several Advanced Placement classes and College Credit Plus courses through Miami University and the University of Cincinnati. In addition to academics, she is active in performing arts as an alto section leader and pianist for Cantare, has performed with the Electronic Music Group, served as first oboe in Wind Ensemble, and received the Warrior Leadership Award for choir contributions.

Her community involvement extends beyond school activities. As a Key Club member, she organized projects supporting organizations such as 4-Paws for Ability, Lebanon Public Library, and local homeless shelters. She used her Spanish language skills to translate safety requirements at Kings Island during summer work on the Orion Crew and helped found the Spanish Club while tutoring peers in Spanish for over seventy hours.

Outside school, Pohlman has participated actively in county and state-level 4-H programs—serving as Vice President on Junior Fairboard—and worked on initiatives like advocating therapy dogs for student mental health support. She completed more than six hundred hours of community service that often combines her love of animals with helping others through activities like counseling at camps or running therapy dog certification classes.

Looking ahead, Pohlman plans to major in Spanish Education with intentions to study abroad in Spain before becoming a public school teacher focused on supporting English learners.
