Columbus Metropolitan Library announced on Apr. 13 the launch of its new online swag store, Shop CML, which offers a variety of general and seasonal library-themed merchandise. The online shop is available at shop-cml.myspreadshop.com, and proceeds from sales will support programs and services at the library.

The introduction of Shop CML addresses growing interest among customers for more library-branded items. “Our customers have been asking us for more library swag, and we’re excited to offer it to them,” said Donna Zuiderweg, Chief of Service Design and Engagement at Columbus Metropolitan Library. “This is a great opportunity to wear your library love on your sleeve, literally!”

In addition to the new online option, Columbus Metropolitan Library’s physical Library Store remains open within Main Library at 96 S. Grant Ave., where visitors can find apparel, gifts, used books, and other items.

The initiative aims to generate additional funding for the library’s programs while giving supporters an opportunity to show their connection with the institution through branded merchandise.
