Franklin County announces Rohr Road closure for construction starting May 4

Franklin County officials announced on Apr. 20 that Rohr Road will be closed west of Bixby Road to Creekside Parkway for road widening construction beginning approximately May 4, with the closure expected to last around 60 days, weather permitting.

The closure is part of a county infrastructure project aimed at improving local transportation. The detour routes will direct eastbound traffic on Rohr Road south onto Lockbourne Road, then east on London-Groveport Road (State Route 317), north on Shook Road, and back to Rohr Road. Westbound traffic will follow the same detour in reverse. Southbound Bixby Road drivers will be rerouted north on Reese Road to Rathmell Road, west to Lockbourne Road, and then south back to Rohr Road.
