Jared Weiser, the Ohio State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), has been appointed to the Industrial Commission Nominating Council by Governor Mike DeWine. The announcement was made last week by the governor’s office.

Weiser expressed his commitment to representing small businesses in this new role. “I look forward to representing Ohio’s small business community on the Industrial Commission Nominating Council,” said Weiser. “It’s a privilege to be appointed to the Council by Governor DeWine and to bring the small business perspective to the group. The Industrial Commission plays a crucial role in our workers’ compensation system, and I look forward to ensuring the system continues to provide timely, fair, and impartial rulings.”

In addition to this appointment, Governor DeWine also recently named Weiser as a member of the Ohio Public Benefits Advisory Board.
