Groveport Madison Schools announced on May 18 that three new educational leaders will join the district ahead of the 2026-27 school year. Bobby Dodd, Jennifer Hutton, and Dr. Donis Toler Jr. have been named to key administrative positions.

The addition of these administrators is significant as the district prepares for the next academic year and aims to continue supporting student achievement and community engagement. The leadership experience brought by Dodd, Hutton, and Toler is expected to impact both students and staff across Groveport Madison Schools.

Bobby Dodd has been appointed Director of Business Services. He previously served as principal at William Mason High School in Ohio and has worked as a leadership coach and educational consultant nationwide. The district said he brings “extensive experience in educational leadership, operations and organizational management” along with expertise in law, contracts, and strategic planning.

Jennifer Hutton will serve as principal of Middle School Central. With more than two decades in education—including roles as teacher, instructional leader, principal, and consultant—Hutton was most recently a principal with Columbus City Schools. She said her philosophy centers on building relationships so “students feel supported and connected.” She also holds degrees in elementary education, English, and educational administration.

Dr. Donis Toler Jr., who previously worked at Groveport Madison earlier in his career, returns as principal of Groveport Madison High School after serving at Independence High School in Columbus City Schools. According to the release: “Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing strong relationships with students, staff and families while helping create positive and supportive school cultures focused on student success.” Dr. Toler also teaches at Franklin University.

Groveport Madison High School functions as the main school within its local district; it offers a comprehensive athletics program that emphasizes community spirit while fostering academic excellence through diverse activities according to the official website.

As preparations begin for fall classes, Groveport Madison Schools said it looks forward to seeing how these new leaders will contribute: “We are proud to welcome Bobby Dodd, Jennifer Hutton and Dr. Donis Toler Jr. to the Cruiser family.”
