The City of Harrison announced on May 5 that it will recognize local heroes with the 2026 Hero Banners program, which will be displayed throughout the community from July through December. The initiative aims to honor individuals who have served and contributed to the community.

The banners are limited to ten, with each one intended to represent a story worth remembering. Community members interested in participating are required to submit an application, a $45 payment, and a high-quality digital photo by June 8, 2026.

Applications should be sent to Sheri Wuestefeld at PO Box 328, 525 New Biddinger Road, Harrison, Ohio 45030. Questions can be directed by phone at (513) 367-0813 or by email at Sheri@FrontierSigns.net.

According to the announcement, “This is one more way our community continues to honor its strong roots and the people who helped shape it.”

The program provides residents with an opportunity to publicly acknowledge those who have made significant contributions or sacrifices for Harrison. Details on how to apply can be found online.
