Haylee VanScoy from Hardin County has been selected to serve a two-year term on the Ohio Farm Bureau Young Ag Professionals State Committee. Her appointment was announced at the 2026 Winter Leadership Experience and is based on her involvement with the Farm Bureau, leadership potential, and community service.
The Ohio Farm Bureau represents farmers throughout Ohio as a grassroots organization focused on advocating for agricultural policies and supporting members’ achievements in food, fiber, and fuel production. The group also provides benefits and expertise to help ensure agricultural success through various initiatives, including educational programs for young farmers in collaboration with institutions such as Ohio State University. More information about these efforts can be found on the official website.
The organization operates under a 26-member board of trustees and maintains partnerships that support its mission, such as its longstanding relationship with Nationwide, which began after spinning off the Farm Bureau Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in 1926. The Ohio Farm Bureau also supports young farmer development through educational collaborations and advocates for agricultural policies at local, state, and federal levels while providing programming to benefit its members.
