Rep. Jim Jordan, currently serving Ohio’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently expressed his support for border security measures and legislative initiatives proposed by former President Donald Trump. On May 17, 2025, Jordan shared several tweets highlighting these issues.

In a tweet posted on May 17, Rep. Jim Jordan emphasized the importance of border security, stating that “President Trump promised border security. Let’s help him do it.”

Later that day, he posted another message advocating for legislative action, linking to an article titled “Why the House must pass Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill”.

Further elaborating on his stance on Trump’s legislative proposals, Jordan tweeted about the key components of President Trump’s reconciliation bill on May 17. He stated that “President Trump’s reconciliation bill will: -Secure the border -Deport violent criminal illegal aliens -Provide tax cuts for middle class Americans -Fix Joe Biden’s broken economy Let’s get it done.”

Jim Jordan has been serving in Congress since 2007 after replacing Mike Oxley and has had a long career in politics with previous roles in both the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate.
