Prairie Township officials announced on May 18 that Kuhlwein Road will be closed to through traffic from Monday, May 18 to Wednesday, May 20. The closure will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and is scheduled for asphalt repairs, weather permitting.

The roadwork is expected to affect drivers who use Kuhlwein Road as a through route during these hours. Local residents, school buses, and emergency services will still have access while the repairs are underway.

Township administrators said that the temporary closure is necessary in order to complete needed maintenance and improve road conditions for area motorists.
