Lef Floral and Botanical outlined its business approach and values on April 15, focusing on providing floral design services for a variety of occasions in downtown Columbus.

The company said it aims to make excellent design accessible to everyone while fostering connections within the local community. Lef Floral offers everyday floral arrangements, wedding designs, special event decorations, corporate work, interiorscaping, plant maintenance, and moss wall installations.

“We here at Lef believe excellent design should be available to all. Nestled in the heart of downtown Columbus in the Warehouse District we love our eclectic mix of folk who live, work and play here in the heart of the city. We seek to be a good neighbor to all and make an impact here In the City,” according to a statement from Lef Floral.

As a newer business in downtown Columbus, Lef Floral said it values opportunities provided by Chamber Mixer events through the Columbus Chamber as a way to build connections with other local businesses. The company also noted that staying current with industry trends is important; Michelle draws inspiration from both international sources and domestic trends due to her background from England, while Robb brings an art perspective when sourcing new products.

Describing its workplace culture as welcoming and dependable, Lef Floral said: “We are a small family-owned business, we strive to make the culture here at Lef welcoming to all who walk into our shop and offer a friendly face and earn your business and learn your name with a dependable and trustworthy style. We are your local florist that with all of life’s events you can rely on for excellent design and prompt local service.” The company added that successful employees are those willing to help out wherever needed each day.

Reflecting on doing business locally, Lef Floral said: “Great clients, midwestern warmth. A can get it done ethos. Big city feel with small town community goodness.”
