The Little Miami School District announced on Apr. 15 that the Warren County Probate Court will oversee the process to fill a current vacancy on the Little Miami Board of Education.

This update is important for community members interested in participating in local education governance, as it details how candidates can apply and how public input will be considered during the selection process.

According to district officials, guidance from the court has established an application procedure for those seeking appointment. The Notice of Vacancy and Application Questionnaire are available through several channels, including the Warren County Probate Court website, at the Probate Court Clerk’s office, on a bulletin board at 406 Justice Drive in Lebanon, via local media press releases, direct communications to families and staff, postings on district websites and social media accounts, Schoology updates, PTO groups communications, Little Miami E-News bulletins, and other available outlets.

Applications will be accepted from April 15 through April 22 at 4:00 p.m., with all materials required to be submitted directly to the Warren County Probate Court following instructions provided in official notices. Letters supporting applicants must also be received by April 22 at 4:00 p.m., either by email (LMboardapplications@warrencountyohio.gov), fax (513-695-2345), or dropped off in person at the court’s location on Memorial Drive during business hours.

Once applications are collected by the deadline, court officials will review submissions and make a final appointment. The school district said it would share further updates with the community once a new board member has been selected.

“Thank you for your continued support of Little Miami Schools,” district officials said.
