Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) has introduced a resolution in the U.S. Senate to congratulate former President Donald Trump for his role in negotiating a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

According to Moreno, the resolution aims to recognize what he described as a historic achievement in Middle East diplomacy. “Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) introduced a resolution congratulating President Trump for negotiating a peace deal between Israel and Hamas,” the statement reads.

The resolution comes amid ongoing efforts by lawmakers to address stability in the Middle East and acknowledges the significance of diplomatic negotiations in reducing conflict.
