Senator Bernie Moreno of Ohio issued a statement in response to the United States Supreme Court’s decision regarding tariffs imposed during President Trump’s administration.

The statement follows ongoing national discussions about trade policy and the role of tariffs in U.S. economic strategy.
Out of the $37.5 billion in total tax revenue collected by Ohio in 2024, $213,000 came from corporation net income taxes, representing a decrease from the previous year, when the total was $251,000, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
