Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) has expressed gratitude to fourteen presidents of Ohio’s public universities for their responses to his recent letter addressing concerns about increasing antisemitic incidents on college campuses. In his statement, Moreno emphasized the seriousness of the issue and the responsibility of university leaders.

“The rise of antisemitism on college campuses is unacceptable,” said Senator Moreno. “I want to thank the presidents of Ohio’s universities for responding to my letter detailing their plans to restore order and ensure college campuses are safe for all students. It is essential that our top universities lead in demonstrating moral leadership and establishing these plans to protect our Jewish students.”

Moreno had previously called on university officials to outline steps they would take to address antisemitic violence and create a safer environment for Jewish students.
