Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) is scheduled to hold a moment of silence on the Senate floor tonight in memory of Charlie Kirk. The tribute is set for approximately 4:30 p.m. on September 15, 2025.

According to an advisory from Senator Moreno’s office, the event will be livestreamed for public viewing.

“Tonight, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) will hold a moment of silence on the Senate Floor to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk.”

The announcement did not provide further details about Kirk’s contributions or the reasons for the Senate tribute.
