The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking input from small business owners in Ohio regarding a potential ballot proposal that could eliminate property taxes in the state. If approved, Ohio would become the only state in the country without property taxes. Lawmakers would then have to explore alternative forms of taxation to compensate for the loss in revenue.

NFIB has invited business owners to participate in a survey and share their perspectives on how this change might affect them. “Please take a moment to take our survey and share your thoughts on this issue from a small business owner’s perspective,” NFIB stated.
