Ohio residents can now plan their visits to the state’s fairs for 2025. The Ohio Department of Agriculture has announced the official dates for the upcoming fair season, which includes 94 county and independent fairs as well as the Ohio State Fair.

The Paulding County Fair will begin the season on June 7, while the Fairfield County Fair will conclude it on October 11. For a complete schedule, individuals are encouraged to download the brochure from the department’s website.

The department is not only responsible for setting and approving fair dates but also plays a role in ensuring safety at amusement rides, overseeing livestock shows for fair competition, and coordinating animal health efforts with local veterinarians.

“Ohioans can start planning visits to all of their favorite fairs across the state,” said a spokesperson from the Ohio Department of Agriculture. “In addition to setting and approving the dates for the independent and county fairs, the department is responsible for helping to assure the safety of fair amusement rides, monitoring livestock shows to help assure honest competition, and coordinating animal health efforts with local veterinarians.”
