Lt. Gov. Jon Husted has been appointed to the U.S. Senate by Governor Mike DeWine, filling the seat vacated by Vice President-elect J.D. Vance. This decision has garnered positive reactions from Ohio’s small business community.

Chris Ferruso, the State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Ohio, expressed support for Husted’s new role. “Lt. Gov. Jon Husted understands the issues that are important to our members and will continue to be a strong advocate for them as our next U.S. Senator,” Ferruso stated.
