Ohio Department of Agriculture schedules public meeting for Reyskens Dairy PTO renewal

A draft Permit to Operate (PTO) renewal has been issued for Reyskens Dairy LLC, according to the Ohio Department of Agriculture. A public meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2026, at the Junior Fair Building on the Wood County Fair Grounds in Bowling Green, Ohio. The facility is located at 19480 Cygnet Road, Custar, Ohio, within the Cedar Portage watershed.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture is accepting comments on the draft permit and will hold an open house followed by a public meeting. The open house starts at 6:30 p.m., with the public meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. Attendees can submit oral or written comments during the meeting or send them via email to LEPP@agri.ohio.gov or by mail to the Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Comments must be received by January 20, 2026.

The draft permit would be valid for five years if finalized. A recording of the public meeting will be made to ensure accuracy. Interested parties can obtain a copy of the draft permit through a public records request at https://agri.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/oda/divisions/legal-office/public-records-site-area.

The Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting maintains lists for notification of all draft permits and interested parties can request to be added by contacting LEPP@agri.ohio.gov or calling 614-387-0470.
