A draft Permit to Operate (PTO) renewal has been issued for New Day Farms, LLC-Pullet Farm by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. This facility is located at 783 County Road 142, West Mansfield, Ohio, within Logan County and Perry Township. The permit will be valid for five years if finalized. Public comments on the draft are being accepted until March 4, 2026.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA), led by Director Brian Baldridge, focuses on safeguarding residents by ensuring food supply safety and promoting economic growth for farmers and agribusinesses. It also provides regulatory oversight and consumer protection programs across the state. The department supports its initiatives with an experienced team of division chiefs and specialists.

Comments or requests for a public meeting regarding the draft permit can be submitted in writing to the Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting at their Reynoldsburg office or via email at lepp@agri.ohio.gov. A public meeting will be held if required by regulations. Additionally, individuals can join an “interested parties” list for notifications about draft permits.
