The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) has issued draft permits for Weaver Dew Fresh Farm, located in Versailles, Ohio. The draft Permit to Install (PTI) and the draft Permit to Operate (PTO) are now open for public comment. According to OAC rule 901:10-6-01, these permits concern the facility situated at 10069 Christian Road in Darke County’s Wayne Township, within the Upper Great Miami Watershed.

If finalized, the PTI will be valid for two years, while the PTO will last five years. Interested parties can access copies of these draft permits by submitting a public records request through this link: https://agri.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/oda/divisions/legal-office/public-records-site-area.

The ODA invites written comments and requests for a public meeting regarding these drafts. To request a meeting, individuals must submit their issues in writing by November 24, 2025. Comments can be mailed to the Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting at 8995 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 or emailed to lepp@agri.ohio.gov. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.

A public meeting may occur if required by OAC 901:10-6-04(C), where attendees can provide oral or written statements for the record. The Division maintains an “interested parties” list for notifications about draft permits across Ohio counties and statewide. To join these lists, contact lepp@agri.ohio.gov or call 614-387-0470.
