The Ohio Department of Development announced on March 30 that registration is now open for the 2026 Ohio Business Matchmaker event, which will take place April 22 and 23 at Wright State University in Dayton.

The event aims to connect small businesses in Ohio with government agencies and prime contractors. This provides local businesses with opportunities to secure contracts and expand their networks within the public sector.

According to the announcement, training sessions are scheduled for April 22 to help participants prepare for one-on-one meetings with agencies and contractors, which will occur on April 23. The second day also includes walk-up meeting opportunities. In-person training begins at noon on April 22, while activities on April 23 run from 7:15 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Registration costs $175 per business or $200 for walk-in registrants. The package includes an event ticket, access to business counseling services, entry to an evening networking reception with appetizers on April 22, as well as breakfast and lunch on April 23. Attendees will also have access to “Lender’s Row,” where bankers experienced in financing government contractors will be available.

For those interested in exhibiting, a small business exhibitor tier is available at $350. This option provides two tickets, a six-foot table located on the arena’s main floor, and all other benefits included in the standard package. Additional tickets beyond two can be purchased separately through the small business package option.

More information about registration options and event details can be found through official channels.
