The Ohio Division of Real Estate announced on May 6 that it has released new updates and information regarding the Licensing, Permitting and Inspections (LPI) eLicense portal.

These changes are important for real estate professionals in Ohio who rely on the LPI system for managing licenses, permits, and inspections. The recent update aims to make it easier for brokers and brokerages to access essential features online.

Ohio REALTORS has produced a new instructional video showing brokers how to claim both their broker and brokerage license, view affiliated agents, and certify agent applications with step-by-step guidance. The organization encourages users to visit lpi.elicense.ohio.gov and follow along with the video for detailed instructions tailored specifically for brokers.

A key feature restored in this update is the addition of brokerage information in the LPI eLicense lookup tool. This brings back functionality that was available in the previous version of the system. The Ohio Division of Real Estate said that Continuing Education information is expected to be added this summer, allowing licensees even more access to important data online.

Ohio REALTORS said it will continue sharing updates from ODRE as they become available. Those with questions about using the LPI eLicense System can visit ODRE’s Common Questions page for further assistance.

Ohio REALTORS represents more than 40,000 real estate professionals across all 88 counties in Ohio through its network of 30 local boards; it is directed by a board comprising elected leaders from within the industry. The organization supports its members by offering advocacy, education, resources, scholarships through its foundation, and promotes policies supporting property rights at state and federal levels according to the official website.
