The 2025 Sale of Champions livestock auction concluded the Ohio State Fair, with Ohio Farm Bureau and several partners purchasing the Grand Champion Market Barrow. The animal was exhibited by Karlie Kennedy from Adams County.

The buyers included Bob Evans Farms, Nationwide, The Kroger Company, Schmidt’s Sausage Haus, NetSteady, All-American Quarter Horse Congress, Metropolis, OKI, Inc., and Expo Services.

“Ohio Farm Bureau, along with partners Bob Evans Farms, Nationwide, The Kroger Company, Schmidt’s Sausage Haus, NetSteady, All-American Quarter Horse Congress, Metropolis, OKI, Inc., and Expo Services purchased the Grand Champion Market Barrow exhibited by Karlie Kennedy of Adams County.”

The Sale of Champions is a traditional event that marks the end of the annual state fair in Ohio.
