Governor Mike DeWine has signed Senate Bill 33 into law, introducing a measure that allows Ohio employers to post certain state labor law posters online. This legislative change was initiated by Jim Mullaney, CEO and President of Edoc Services, Inc., and a member of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
NFIB State Director Chris Ferruso and Mullaney attended the bill signing event held last week. Mullaney expressed his approval, stating, “We are thrilled to see Ohio embrace digital innovation with Senate Bill 33,” and further emphasized, “This law empowers businesses to meet compliance requirements efficiently while adapting to the needs of today’s workforce. Our ePoster platform is designed to make this transition seamless, ensuring Ohio employers remain compliant with ease and confidence.” These comments were reported by ABC 8 News.
Recently, the NFIB Leadership Council convened to discuss new small business legislation under consideration in the Ohio Legislature. During this meeting, Representative David Thomas engaged with council members on issues related to property tax relief. Council Chair Al Macre and NFIB Ohio State Director Chris Ferruso also took part in presenting Larry Schmidtt with a plaque commemorating his 55-year membership with the organization.
