The Ohio General Assembly has returned from its summer break and is now holding committee hearings and floor votes on a range of legislative proposals. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Ohio is currently monitoring more than 90 bills at the Statehouse.

Key topics being discussed include health care legislation, regulatory relief, and reforms to unemployment compensation. According to the NFIB, these issues are significant for small businesses across the state.

“The NFIB team in Ohio is hard at work ensuring the voice of small business is heard loud and clear at the Statehouse as these bills are being considered,” said a representative from NFIB.

Small business owners or others interested in learning more or participating can contact Jared Weiser, Ohio State Director, at Jared.Weiser@NFIB.org.
