Rudi Pitzer Perry of New Vienna has completed Ohio Farm Bureau’s AgriPOWER Class XV. The program, which began in 2008, is designed to develop leadership skills among those involved in agriculture. Its goal is to help agricultural advocates become more effective in influencing public policy that affects their businesses and communities.
The AgriPOWER program provides training and experiences for participants to understand issues facing the agricultural sector and strategies for advocacy work. By graduating from this program, participants like Pitzer Perry are expected to be better prepared to engage with policy matters relevant to agriculture.
