On April 16, 2025, Jordan commented on the legislative opportunity that Congress will have to “better protect Americans from warrantless government surveillance” through the “Passing a warrant requirement for FISA Section 702.” He encouraged Congress to affirm their commitment to the Constitution in the upcoming year. “One year from now, Congress will have a chance to reaffirm our commitment to the Constitution and better protect Americans from warrantless government surveillance. Passing a warrant requirement for FISA Section 702 will do just that.”
In another update posted later that day, Jordan expressed his appreciation for young Ohioans who have “signed up to serve their country.” He offered his blessings to these individuals, acknowledging their commitment. “God Bless these young Ohioans signing up to serve their country!”
Towards the end of the day, Jordan addressed the ongoing issue of border security. He criticized the Democratic Party’s handling of immigration, stating their initial denial of a “border crisis” and subsequent actions that he claims have led to millions of illegal aliens entering the country. He accused them of opposing efforts to enforce deportation of criminals and illegal aliens. “First, Democrats said there was no border crisis. Then, they admitted the border was open and millions of illegal aliens came into the country. Now, they are fighting the people’s mandate to deport criminals and illegal aliens.”
