Independence home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Independence fell by $39,750 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $141,000 - a 22% decrease over the $180,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Independence in April 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,557, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
