Lorain home prices fall in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Lorain fell by $18,200 while total sales increased by 186.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 126 homes sold, with a median sale price of $62,201 - a 22.6% decrease over the $80,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Lorain in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Lorain for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,291, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
