Lorain home prices fall in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Lorain fell by $7,000 while total sales increased by 21.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 67 homes sold, with a median sale price of $38,500 - a 15.4% decrease over the $45,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Lorain in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Lorain for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,291, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for February 2018.
