Amherst home prices fall in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Amherst fell by $1,500 while total sales decreased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - a 1.1% decrease over the $131,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Amherst in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Amherst for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,489, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for February 2018.
