Avon home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Avon fell by $23,500 while total sales decreased by 27.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $243,500 - a 8.8% decrease over the $267,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Avon in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,601, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for December 2017.
