Lorain home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Lorain fell by $8,927 while total sales increased by 173.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 104 homes sold, with a median sale price of $55,573 - a 13.8% decrease over the $64,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in Lorain in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Lorain for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,291, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
