Oberlin home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Oberlin rose by $23,500 while total sales increased by 216.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $142,000 - a 19.8% increase over the $118,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Oberlin in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,304, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
