Elyria home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Elyria rose by $6,200 while total sales increased by 22.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 54 homes sold, with a median sale price of $54,500 - a 12.8% increase over the $48,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Elyria in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Elyria for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,722, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for February 2017.
