Elyria home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Elyria rose by $26,235 while total sales increased by 30.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 60 homes sold, with a median sale price of $88,650 - a 42% increase over the $62,415 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Elyria in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Elyria for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,722, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
