Oberlin home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Oberlin rose by $123,100 while total sales remained unchanged with seven homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $158,000 - a 352.7% increase over the $34,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Oberlin in January 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,304, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
