Avon Lake home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Avon Lake rose by $60,100 while total sales increased by 52.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 31.6% increase over the $189,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Avon Lake in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Avon Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,050, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
