Mentor home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Mentor rose by $16,500 while total sales increased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 120 homes sold, with a median sale price of $167,000 - a 11% increase over the $150,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 112 homes sold in Mentor in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,005, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for June 2017.
